- How many social workers have been allocated to the Bitou municipal area on a (i) permanent and (ii) rotational basis, (b) how many hours on average does (i) permanent and (ii) rotational social workers spend assisting members of the public per week and (c) what functions do these social workers perform?
Answer Body:
- 5 Social Workers and 1 Social Auxiliary Worker have been allocated to the Bitou Municipality and render services in the following areas
(i) 2x Social Workers (Permanent)
3x Social Workers (Graduates)
1x Social Auxiliary Worker (Permanent)
Interviews were conducted for 5 Social Work posts as part of the interview process already completed during beginning of the year. All goes well it should be filled by April/May
(ii) No staff on a rotational basis
- (i) and (ii) All staff are employed for 8 hours per day 5 days a week
- The Social Workers render the full spectrum of Social Work services
