What will the National Development Plan outcomes be when implemented by his department for the (a) 2014/15, (b) 2015/16, (c) 2016/17, (d) 2017/18 and (e) 2018/19 financial years?
Answer Body:
Guided by National Treasury’s planning guidelines, my Department of Health is currently in the process of planning for the next five years.
Attention is paid to important guiding documents such as the National Development Plan [NDP], the Medium-Term Strategic Framework [MTSF], One Cape 2040 and other strategic documents nationally and provincially so as to ensure alignment. Once the departments have completed this process, I will be in a position to provide you with my departments’ plans for the next five years.
