Hon Alan Winde
Question Number:
2
Question Body:

(a)       How many (i) MINMEC meetings were scheduled and (ii) did he attend since his appointment to the Provincial Cabinet up to the latest date for which information is available and (b) what were the reasons for each meeting not attended?

MinMEC meetings are not statutory or mandatory, but I attend as many meetings as possible given my other commitments.  In many instances, however, late notification is received from the National Departments and it becomes impossible to clear an entire day’s diary at such late notice.
