What are the details of the safety plans at schools in the Central Karoo region and provide for each (a) the location, (b) name of the programme manager, (c) budget allocation and (d) security provided?
Answer Body:
The Department of Community Safety (DoCS) supports the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) more specifically the Safe Schools programme (Education Safety Management) in an advisory capacity.
The information requested is held by the Department of Education more specifically the Safe Schools Programme (Education Safety Management). No specified budget is allocated or held by DoCS for Schools Safety interventions.
