Answer Body:
Yes, land that is managed by CapeNature was destroyed in the recent fires on the Garden Route. 19 000 hectares burned on Outeniqua Nature Reserve. The fire started on 24 October 2018 in Herold on private land adjacent to the reserve. CapeNature immediately deployed resources to this fire. This fire spread into the Outeniqua Nature Reserve the same evening.
