(1)  What is the status of  cases (a) CAS 546/03/2017, (b) CAS 311/04/2017, (c) CAS 380/04/2017, (d) CAS 105/05/2017, (e) CAS 135/05/2017, (f) CAS 313/05/2017, (g) CAS 408/05/2017 and (h) CAS 546/05/2017 at the Beaufort West Police Station;

 

(2)  whether any arrests have been made; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?

3.      The South African Police Service informed me as follows:

          (1)          (a)       Beaufort West CAS 546/03/2017 – Crimen Injuria

                                    Case withdrawn.

                        (b)       Beaufort West CAS 311/04/2017 – Any other offence against the reputation or honour of a person

                                    Case withdrawn.

                        (c)       Beaufort West CAS 380/04/2017 – Common Assault

                                    Case withdrawn.

                        (d)       Beaufort West CAS 105/05/2017 – Common Assault, 2nd charge crimen injuria, 3rd charge operating a vehicle recklessly

                                    Case withdrawn.

                        (e)       Beaufort West CAS 135/05/2017 – Common Assault

                                    Case withdrawn.

                        (f)         Beaufort West CAS 313/05/2017 – In any way threaten, assault, injure, intimidate or cause loss to a person of a specific class or type

                                    Case withdrawn.

                        (g)       Beaufort West CAS 408/05/2017 – Common Assault 

       Docket booked out to the Senior Public Prosecutor for the issuing of a J175 summons to appear in court.

                        (h)        Beaufort West CAS 546/05/2017 – In any way threaten, assault, injure, intimidate or cause loss to a person of a specific class or type
