(a) How many children were murdered in the Western Cape in the (i) 2016/17 and (ii) 2017/18 financial years, (b) in which communities did the murders occur, (c) what is the conviction rate for these murders, (d) how many perpetrators were related or known to the victims, (e) how many of these perpetrators had previous convictions, (f) what were these convictions prior to the conviction for murder, (g) how effective is the Child Murder Committee that was established in 2016 to address cases of child murder in the Western Cape and (h) how many of the murder victims were also raped?
