What is the number of young people who were serving sentences or who were offenders awaiting trial at child and youth care centres across the province who were registered for and completed matric successfully in (a) 2014/15, (b) 2015/16, (c) 2016/17 and (d) 2017/18?
Answer Body:
- Only one correctional services centre offers the National Senior Certificate Examination (NSC) (November exams).
No correctional services centres enrolled learners in the age group 17 to 23 for the Senior Certificate (Amended) Examinations (May/June).
