  1. What is the status of cases (a) CAS 546/03/2017, (b) CAS 311/04/2017, (c) CAS 380/04/2017, (d) CAS 105/05/2017, (e) CAS 135/05/2017, (f) CAS 313/05/2017, (g) CAS 408/05/2017 and (h) CAS 546/05/2017 at the Beaufort West Police Station;
  2. whether any arrests have been made; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?

3.       The South African Police Service informed me as follows:

          (1)(a)     Docket to DPP on 2017.11.27 for decision and still at court.

              (b)     Docket to DPP on 2017.11.27 for decision and still at court.

              (c)     Docket to DPP on 2017.11.27 for decision and still at court.

              (d)     Docket to DPP on 2017.11.27 for decision and still at court.

              (e)     Docket to DPP on 2017.11.27 for decision and still at court.

              (f)      Docket to DPP on 2017.11.27 for decision and still at court.

              (g)     Docket to DPP on 2017.11.27 for decision and still at court.

              (h)     Docket to DPP on 2017.11.27 for decision and still at court.

          (2) No arrest. Dockets referred to DPP for decision. Mr. Walter, Chief Prosecutor,           recommended that no arrest must be executed and that the dockets need to be     forwarded to the DPP for decision.
