- How many early childhood development (ECD) centres are there currently in the province, (b) where are they located, (c) what are the total number of subsidised children at each centre, (d) what is the total number of children with disabilities who have access to these centres, and (e) what is the number of children who are subsidised through the ECD conditional grant in the province?

- Currently 2119 registered facilities – see attached electronic database
- Across the Western Cape Province as per database.
- 74 976 as per attached Performance Information data
- Total of 209 children indicated as accessing services.
- Total subsidised through the ECD subsidy conditional grant is 4 265 children
