The selection of sites was based on information provided by Departments. The City of Cape Town is the municipal district with the highest concentration of WCG sites, and so have the highest number of sites on the Broadband site list. As an example, there are far more schools (which make up about 65% of the Broadband sites) in the City of Cape Town than in any of the other Municipal districts. This is linked to population numbers in these areas.
