Answer Body:

The South African Police Service informed me as follows:

(1) (a) (i)           Weltevreden SAPS is planned (please note that the Station’s name will be Samora Marchel as per community area).

(ii)           It is on the National APP for 2015/2016 for site clearance. Division Facility management is in the process of site clearance.

(iii)          The THRR (Theoretical Human Resource Requirements) indicates that 108 posts are needed. The allocation of posts will be done through the yearly FE (Fixed Establishment) process.

    (b) (i)           Makhaza SAPS is in planning.

(ii)           It is on the National APP for 2016/2017 for construction: planning and design.

(iii)          The THRR (Theoretical Human Resource Requirements) indicates that 152 posts are needed. The allocation of posts will be done through the yearly FE (Fixed Establishment) process.

       (2)          Due to variability of the staff establishment, the actual physical and human resource allocation will be determined close to implementation.
