Whether municipalities have an oversight role over the infrastructure of Eskom; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
Answer Body:
Municipalities have no oversight role over the infrastructure of Eskom. As the infrastructure fall within a servitude area, Eskom is solely responsible for their maintenance and safety with no responsibility for the landowners (Municipalities).
