Whether any housing opportunities are planned for Brandwag, Mossel Bay; if not, why not; if so, (a) what these opportunities entail and (b) what their time frame is?
Answer Body:
(a&b) The Municipality does not have a plan to develop housing
opportunities since the land in Brandwag was transferred to the community in terms of the Land Reform process. The community also received housing opportunities at the time.
There are however, 15 families living in the informal area in Brandwag. Since Brandwag is not the growth point, these families will be accommodated in other projects in the future.
