With reference to the outbreak of listeriosis, whether her Department communicated with schools in the Cederberg Municipality about the dangers posed by the listeriosis outbreak and how to prevent infections; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
2. The matters pertaining to the listeriosis outbreak were communicated to all schools in the Western Cape Province through a detailed circular (0011/2018). The circular was jointly developed by my Department and the Department of Health. It was a carefully articulated circular that addressed the dangers as well as preventative measures.
