To attend the 7th Regional Leaders’ Summit which is a multilateral forum of seven regions from five continents and in which perspectives and strategies for a sustainable world are discussed under the main topic “Policy for Generations”. The 2014 themes were 1) leveraging major sporting events as Economic Development Opportunities and 2) Global shifts in Supply Chain Management.

Dubai

To honour an invitation received by Premier Zille to attend the Annual Investment Meeting congress hosted by the Ministry of the Economy in Dubai. Minister Winde also met with senior government officials and various stakeholders and tourism organisations to further strengthen trade and investment relations and to boost tourism between the destinations. Unlocking the trade of horses between the two regions was a key priority of the official visit.
