With reference to the budget of the Police Department in the MTEF and the proposed cutting of police posts between 2017/18 and 2019/20, (a) how many posts in the Western Cape will be cut, (b) how many posts in each programme will be cut and (c) at what level or levels will posts be cut?

[a] – [c] As indicated by the National Head of Organizational Development, Maj Gen Makgato the Western Cape Fixed Establishment will not be cut down.
