In the light of the above-inflation increase (9,93%) in the 2017 school fees at the Grove Primary School, an increase which was approved by a majority of only one parent at the budget meeting held on 26 September 2016, whether she can provide a detailed breakdown of the salaries paid to non-Western Cape Education Department (WCED) staff members (academic and non-academic), as well as of all amounts paid by the school to WCED staff members in addition to their departmental salaries for the 2016 academic year?
We cannot comment on the amount of increase or approval process of the budget. We cannot provide info on non-WCED staff. No S38A application has been received by the department so no additional amounts should have been paid to WCED staff members.
