Whether the forensic investigation at the George Municipality has commenced; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
Answer Body:
The Provincial Forensic Services [PFS] was requested to assess allegations that were received by my office. This assessment and preliminary consultations with certain individuals in respect thereof have been completed and on the basis thereof the PFS has recommended a full forensic investigation. A full forensic investigation will commence in George Municipality as soon as the required formalities have been dealt with, which I anticipate will happen in the next couple of weeks.
