Whether he and his Department are investigating or will be investigating the alleged transgression of the Rules of Order by the Mossel Bay Municipality on 31 May 2017 when the Council approved the budget while disregarding their own rules; if not, why not, if so, when will the investigation be completed?
My Department did not receive any complaint on an alleged transgression of the Rules of Order by the Mossel Bay Municipality when the Council approved the budget on 31 May 2017, therefore my Department is not investigating an alleged transgression of the Rules of Order by the Mossel Bay Municipality. The question has been referred to the Municipality for response on the alleged transgression of the Rules of Order, however, the Municipality responded by requesting more clarity on the question and the alleged transgression. It would be appreciated if the Member can provide more details.
