Whether any title deeds have been handed over to Western Cape residents during the first quarter of 2017; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
Answer Body:
Yes, my department is aware of at least 1667 title transfers in favour of beneficiaries listed on the Housing Subsidy System, representing 149 different housing development projects in 66 allotment areas across the Western Cape. Of these 1254 took place between 1 January 2017 and 31 March 2017.
