How many (a) schools in the province offer all three official languages to its learners and (b) Xhosa teachers were in the province in (i) 2014, (ii) 2015, (iii) 2016 and (iv) 2017 to date?
Answer Body:
(a) 100 schools offer all three languages according to the Central Education Management Information System.
(b) Educator surveys indicate the following number of isiXhosa Language teachers at public ordinary schools.
- 2014 – 318
(ii) 2015 – 316
(iii) 2016 - 320
(iv) 2017 - 348
