(a) Where will the new G F Jooste Hospital be located, (b) which communities were consulted about the status of the hospital, (c) how much was spent on the demolition of the hospital, and (d) how many people in the areas surrounding the hospital lost their lives due to the demolition of the hospital?
[a] The finalisation of a site is dependent on the planning processes underway in various other departments in the province. The determination of a site for the new Klipfontein Regional Hospital is therefore premature at this stage.
[b] At the time of closure of GF Jooste Hospital a number of consultation processes were followed, with staff members, the hospital board, and the community.
[c] The hospital has not been demolished.
[d] This is not applicable since no demolition took place.
