- Whether there are any vacancies in the South African Police Service (SAPS) in the Eden cluster; if so, what are the relevant details; if not;
whether there are plans to deploy more SAPS officer to the Eden cluster in the near future; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
Answer Body:
The South African Police Service informed me as follows:
(1) There are [66] in the Operational environment
(2) In respect of addressing personnel vacancies, all police stations are continuously monitored to ensure adequate capacity to execute our constitutional obligation. To this end, the usual Human Resource processes are employed to fill vacant posts.
