(a) What is the cost, if any, of the work study on the modernisation process of the functions of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and (b) when will the study be completed?
[a] There is no cost to the Department for the SCM work study as it forms part of the broader Modernisation process of the Department that is undertaken by the Department of the Premier, Chief Directorate: Organisational Development. The findings and recommendations of the work study could potentially have financial implications for the Department however this will only be known after the finalisation of the modernisation process.
[b] The Department cannot accurately determine the date on which the work study report on the modernisation, inclusive of Supply Chain Management, shall be completed because its completion remains subject to consultation at various forums.
