(1) Whether the Camps Bay Police Station is scheduled for any general maintenance, as well as repairs to and maintenance of cells; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details;
(2) when will the outer perimeter fence of the Camp Bay Police Station be completed?
[1] Camps Bay SAPS is a devolved police station and is not on the APP for any upgrading. General day-to-day maintenance is to be conducted by the Station if and when the need arises utilizing funds allocated under goods and services.
[2] Saps National building services confirmed that there was a dispute between the contractor appointed by them and his supplier, hence the delay. Work is currently 70% complete. The panels already at the police station will be fitted on 2017-05-08. The three remaining panels were ordered on 2017-05-04 for manufacturing and galvanizing where after it will be fitted.
