(1) What is the priority capital works of the South Africa Police Service of the Western Cape for the construction of new police stations;
(2) whether this list has been made available to the Department of Public Works; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
[1] Tafelsig: On APP for Planning and Design 2015/2016. In execution: Construction to commence end December 2017
Makhaza: On APP for Planning and Design 2016/2017. In execution: Construction to commence end September 2018
Weltevreden: On APP for Site clearance 2015/2016. Not achieved due to inability to find a site. On APP for planning and design 2016/2017. Not achieved to inability to find a site to progress to this phase.
[2] This office does not provide any priority lists to DPW. Priority lists are sent to National SCM who compiles a National Priority list. National SAPS provides National DPW with Planning Instructions and funding for execution of projects on behalf of SAPS.
