Of the budget allocated for the current financial year for the building of the Klipfontein Regional Hospital to replace the GF Jooste Hospital, (a) how much has been spent to date, (b) what is the detailed breakdown of expenditure and (c)(i) how much has not been spent to date and (ii) what is it earmarked for?

Answer Body: 

The Department of Transport and Public Works [DTPW] is the implementing agent on this project for the Western Cape Department of Health. The project is in Concept Stage [stage 2] and the evaluation of the Professional Service Provider [PSP] tender is currently being undertaken. It is anticipated that the PSP team will be appointed by September. This year, the main activity will be the preparation of a concept design.
