With regard to the recent closure of the Sassa office in Khayelitsha:
(1) Whether her Department shares any other facilities with Sassa; if so, what are the relevant details;
(2) whether any of these facilities are scheduled to undergo maintenance in the next 12 months; if so, what are the relevant details?
Answer Body:
1. DSD shares office space with SASSA in the following areas:
- Mitchells Plain
- Hessequa
- Bergriver
- Eerste River
- Gugulethu
- Khayelitsha
- Kannaland (Thusong)
- Witzenberg (Thusong)
2. Bergriver - The agreement between the Department of Transport and Public Works and SASSA is that SASSA will move out of the building and find other accommodation.
