With regard to his announcement at the Women in Construction Engagement on 31 August 2022 of an app to streamline tender processes:
(1) What are the precise plans for the development of this app and (b) when will the app be launched;
(2) whether his Department has implemented any measures to reduce the amount of documentation needed for the tender application process, given the concerns raised by attendees at the engagement; if so, what are the relevant details?
[1][b][2] The development of such an application is being explored within my Department and is still in design phase. Precise plans are not available at this stage as the development of this application is going to take some time, as there are many role players involved in this process that must be consulted.
