With regard to the reply to question 7 of 27 May:

(1)   (a) How many detainees have escaped from (i) police vehicles in each cluster, (ii) holding cells at each police station and (iii) physical police detention facilities between 2018/19 and 2022/23, (b) how many of the aforementioned escapees have been rearrested, (c) how many SAPS members have been found negligent or responsible for these escapees, (d) with respect to (c) above, how many (i) internal disciplinary cases are ongoing, (ii) SAPS members have been suspended and (iii) of the individuals have been dismissed and (e) what is the seniority of the SAPS members involved in each of the aforementioned cases;

(2)   whether any external persons have been involved in each of these cases; if so, have they been (a) charged, (b) found guilty and (c) prosecuted;

(3)   how many convicts have escaped from their transport to their respective prison facilities after being convicted?
