With regard to learner admissions and infrastructure challenges at the Murray School in Plettenberg Bay:
(1) (a) What is the (i) number of learners who have been enrolled at the school, (ii) breakdown per grade and (iii) number of teachers who are employed at the school per grade in (aa) 2019, (bb) 2020, (cc) 2021 and (dd) 2022, (b) what is the (i) teacher-to-learner population ratio and (ii) average class size at the school for the current academic year and (c) what are the plans of his Department to (i) renovate and/or extend and (ii) rebuild and/or upgrade the school;
(2) whether there are any plans for additional classrooms and teachers at the school over the 2022 MTEF period; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?

Three additional teaching posts were allocated to the school for the 2022 academic year.
6 mobile units have been placed at the school during the course of 2022.
We are currently scheduling public consultations regarding infrastructure options to address the high demand for high school places in the area.
