- Given the known surge in incidences of gender-based violence (GBV) over the festive season, what resources will her Department provide to the survivors of GBV during this period;
- The Department of Social Development Service Offices are operational over the festive period.
- Provision of psychosocial support at the Thuthuzela Care Centres will be available 24/7.
- Shelters will also be operational to provide safe accommodation for women and children who are victims of crime.

The SAPS have not provided any details of festive season plans to the Department of Social Development at the time of the question.
