How many joint operations were conducted in the province during the 2022 festive season?
Answer Body:
A total of 2 283 integrated operations were executed across the province during the 2022/23 festive season, for the reporting period 1 December 2022 till 11 January 2023.
Internal and external role players who contributed to and participated in the operations include: South African Police Services (SAPS), Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Safely Home WC, Road Accident Fund, Child Safe, Provincial Regulatory Entity (PRE), Land Transport Safety Management as well as the EC/NC provinces at Inter provincial operations.
