With regard to his Department’s COVID-19-related expenditure, in particular for the fumigation of schools:
(a) What is his Department’s total expenditure breakdown on the (i) fumigation and (ii) sanitisation of schools and the Department’s offices from 2019 to 2023 to date and (b) what are the details of the service providers to whom contracts for fumigation and sanitisation were awarded?
My department has informed me of the following:
(a) (i) Fumigation is a method of pest control and not related to Covid-19.
(ii) Cost for decontamination during Covid-19 as per the Annual Financial Statements and Annual Report is as follows:
