- How many of her Department’s facilities have been subject to theft or vandalism from 1 January 2023 to 1 May 2023 and (b) what has the cost been of repairing this damage?
Answer Body:
- The Department reports on a three-monthly basis on security incidents. The latest available report is for January 2023 – March 2023. During this period there were 75 incidents of damages to facility property and 89 incidents of theft/burglary.
- Of these reported incidents, 57 had financial implications to repair at an estimated value of R70 000.00.
