- How many incidents of crime have occurred at her Department’s facilities in the last 12 months and (b) what are the relevant details of each of these incidents?
Answer Body:
Though there are several security incidents reported at our facilities, a total of 256 were reported to the South African Police Services for the period 1 April 2022 – 31 March 2023,
These incidents are a combination of the following types of incidents:

Physical Assault | 21 |
Possession of an illegal substance | 4 |
Theft/ burglary | 110 |
Threatening Behaviour | 20 |
