(i) What is the total number of temporary classrooms at former model C schools in the province and (ii) how many of these classrooms are in each school, (b)(i) what is the total number of temporary classrooms in township schools in the province and (ii) how many of these classrooms are in each school and (c) what is the average number of learners per classroom at former model C schools compared to township schools?

17.     My department has informed me of the following:

          Neither “former Model C schools” or “township schools” are a reporting category for Western Cape Education Department data on mobile classroom placement. This is not included in the current regulatory framework. Schools are categorised into quintiles as per National Norms and Standards for School Funding.
