In the light of the release of the first quarter’s Crime Statistics Report for the 2024/25 period:

What is the (a) detailed breakdown of each of the 17 community-reported serious crimes for each police station in the province, (b) detailed breakdown of each of the contact crimes per police station in the province, including by (i) age, (ii) race and (iii) gender of the victims, and (c) total number of (i) women and (ii) children who were murdered in the province during this reporting period, including a breakdown by (iii) age, (iv) race and (v) gender?

12. (a) The table below depicts the total for each of the 17 community-reported serious crime per choice station in the Western Cape as released by the Minister of Police. The table reflects 20 different crimes as the Sexual Offences are further divided into the three subcategories.

(b) The data (age, race and gender) displayed in the attached excel spreadsheet was redrawn from the SAPS corporate system on 27 September 2024 and might differ from the released statistics due to updating on the live system.
