3. Briefing by Metrorail on how it plans to channel the increased revenue (fare increases) in a manner that will improve on key challenges such as safety and security and reliability of commuters and assets respectively

5. Briefing by the Provincial Police Commissioner on the its role in the monitoring and prevention of incidents on trains and in so do ensuring the safety of commuters
6. Discussion
7. Briefing by the Department of Transport and Public Works on its partnership with PRASA and its contribution to ensuring the safety of commuters in the Western Cape.
