Opening and welcome by co-ordinating Chairperson Ms Maseko

1. Visit to Abagold in Hermanus to receive a briefing on the process of sourcing, manufacturing and exporting live, canned and dried abalone and to tour the facility

2. Briefing by the Department of Economic Development and Tourism on the:

1. Work and Skills Programme implemented by Abagold

(creating learning and work placement for unemployed youth); and

1. Learner development progress of the 30 learners placed with Abagold on 1 May 2015, and 8 learners placed on 2 November 2015

3. Briefing by Abagold and the Department of Economic Development and Tourism on the economic benefits of the business to the surrounding communities

4. Tour of Abagold
