1. Briefing on the Rooidakke Peoples Housing Project (PHP) in Grabouw with specific reference to the:     

1. Measures instituted to determine the credibility of the Housing Demand Database;

1.2       Challenges experienced in terms of the facilitation of storm water management systems eg. storm water channels and retention walls to deflect water away from properties;

1.3       Safety measures implemented at houses eg. Safety rails;

1.4       Measures implemented to strengthen consumer education workshops, to create awareness in terms of property maintenance; and

1.5       Challenges and success of the 202 UISP units in Grabouw.

2. Walk-about of the Rooidakke (PHP) in Grabouw

Walk-about of the housing project, accompanied by the Department of Human Settlements and the Municipal officials. Kindly arrange for members to access at least two units.
