Please note that a meeting of the above Standing Committee will take place as follows:

08:30 – 09:00: Briefing by the South African Police Service (SAPS) on its procedures with regards to missing
children, focusing on SAPS statistics on cases and challenges they encounter in dealing with missing
children.
09:00 – 09:30: Briefing by the Pink Ladies Organisation for missing children on its programmes.
09:30 – 10:30: Briefing by the Identi Masses' on its programmes for missing children.
10:30 -11:00 TEA BREAK
11:00 – 11:30: Briefing by the Stellenbosch Child Welfare on the Eye on the Child Project.
11:30 – 12:00: Briefing by the Valley Development Project (VDP) on its programmes on the safety of children in the
province.
12:00 -12:30: Briefing by the Department of Social Development on the Isibindi programme, the implementation process,
successes and challenges of the programme.
