Whether there are any plans for the building or maintenance of sport and recreation centres in the area covered by the City of Cape Town’s wards 61, 64, 69 and 71; if so, (a) when will the building or maintenance take place and (b) what is the allocated budget?
Answer Body:
The Department has no provision gazetted for the City of Cape Town for this financial year for these wards. Facilities and the maintenance thereof fall within the competence of the local municipality in this case the City of cape Town.
